Patient Rights

Patient has the right to recieve the best possible care available, with respect and kindness regadless of age, religion, gender, nationality, social and economic background or mental ability. patient or designated attendant shall receive the complete information about the diagnosis, prognosis, potential complications and proposed treatment by treating consultant in language and term that is understandable in order to make informed decisions. At the time of discharge patient shall get a discharge card containing the summary of investigation diagnosis, treatment and follow-up advice. An informed consent shall be taken from patient or designated attendant before any invasive/high risk procedures or treatment. Shifting to critical area and blood or blood product transfusions. Patient or designated attendant has the right to refuse treatment and to seek discharge we will advice you of medical consequences of such decisions. However, hospital will not be responsible for the consequences resulting from such actions made by you. In case of genuine dissatisfaction with treatment the patient is entitled to request a change in his/her treating consultant and to seek redress of his/her grievance.. you have the right to request the detailed final bill with an explanation related to services and treatment after discharge. However, Provisional bill is an estimate and may change over the course of your treatment. you shall be provided care with full recognition of your individual need for privacy. All the record of patients must be kept restricted to treating physician/surgeon and Hospital authorized authority.
